Yes, well said.  John truly is a remarkable man and an absolute treasure.  Sheffield should be extremely proud to count him amongst our citizens   Well done, John.  Nobody deserves it more than you.  I was going to say, 'don't you think it's time to take it easy now?' but I know what his answer would be!!

i spoke to him saturday and i ring him occasionally ,since covid 19,he has a 5 mile walk each day to keep him fit,no pram and away from busy areas,so he can stay covid safe ,as we all know if not it would be high 5s ect,but hes a top man and hes a legand ,arise sir john would sound great as well.

He really does deserve a star 🌟 outside the town hall. I know this topic has been discussed on here before but surely the powers that be must realise he is a Sheffield LEGEND.
