Jazz funk, blues style, something like George Benson/Larry Carlton.

Original material and funky arrangements of Jazz standards.

I'm an experienced guitarist who regularly plays and listens to that style. I'm quite busy with my main band at the moment (so depending on the level of committment required I may not have enough spare time for another project) but I'd willing to have a jam sometime...

I posted this a year ago-)) and still looking for musicians.

Is anyone interested in playing smooth jazz, instrumental rock, etc...?

Not perfect, but willing!

 

I'm a bassist, I'm 60 and I don't read spots, I've been working for 40 years when I could have been learning that, but I can play along with anything that's not too fast (arthritis!) especially if I already know the song. I can memorise bass lines with enough practice. I do practice, especially if I have a song to practice with. I have studied some music theory and I can sing (if I have memorised the bass line). Influences: Gary Moore, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Nirvana, anything that moves and doesn't just go nowhere.

 

I play an Ibanez SR505 through a 15" cab and a Mibass 220 amp. I have my own transport, I'm retired but occasionally working.
