milquetoast1 Â Â 10 #50 Posted May 27, 2016 The intro to this track always made the hair on the back of my neck stand up: Â Â But only on the original LP version. They ruined the intro on .
 Share this content via...

TORONTONY Â Â 10 #52 Posted May 28, 2016 I can't listen to that original Layla with Derek and the dominos now. "Blocked on copyright grounds" Â Get the album, they only made one. Derek and the Dominoes Layla and assorted love songs. A lot of great tracks. The late Duane Allman was probably better than Clapton on guitar at that point in time. Bell Bottom Blues is the best song on the album , in my opinion, and that includes Layla. Â ---------- Post added 27-05-2016 at 23:44 ---------- Â Anybody mentioned A Hard Day's Night yet ? LOL Every Tom, Dick and Harry has tried to figure out that one stroke of the guitar of George Harrison's, that starts the song, but George never let on. horribleblob   213 #54 Posted May 28, 2016 Not the best song intro of all time, perhaps, but one of my favourites for 46 years.  Jingo — Santana [from 0.05].  Scant on lyrics, so perhaps the whole track is an intro — but with a baby-faced Carlos to boot. janie48 Â Â 98 #60 Posted June 2, 2016 (edited) Love the piano intro on Bruce Hornsby's The Way it is I'd forgotten about that one, and I love it all the way through. Â ---------- Post added 02-06-2016 at 15:54 ---------- Â Among all these good choices, such as the great timeless classics that include Baker Street, Hotel California etc, as well as the lesser known ones contributed. I really think this deserves a mention. Free- All Right Now. Edited June 2, 2016 by janie48
 Share this content via...
