I have one of my own photographs on my phone wallpaper and would like to transfer it on to my computer. However it is not in the gallery. I have a feeling it was stored on an old sim which has been thrown away.

Does anyone know if there is some way I could copy it from my phone on to my computer. Surely if the picture can be viewed on screen as my wallpaper it has to be stored somewhere so there must be a way it can be accessed.

Thanks in advance for trying to help.

there is a program for android which is supposed to save your wallpaper to the SD card.

It's called: Wallpaper Saver.

I haven't tried it.

Edit:

I have just downloaded this program and installed iton my Galaxy S4.

I set the program to save my wallpapers.

I have set one of my photos in gallery as wallpaper and then deleted the photo from gallery.

Using Wallpaper saver I could e mail the wallpaper (to myself this time) as it throws up my address book.

the photo arrived OK to my iMac.

I don't know if this program works on apple OS.

HTH

try googling saving wallpaper from my iPhone if you have one that is!
