Hello!

So I've been on go compare website and I'm confused!

At the minute we say £72 a month for a phone (that we don't use) TV package and unlimited broadband.

We're wanting to lower this cost dramatically as it's too much!

We only really need unlimited broadband as we don't watch TV enough to Warrent the cost and never use the phone.

I'm confused by all the mbps speeds etc. My partners child has his xbox he plays on and we hook up Ipads and phones to the WiFi, we also stream online. What sort of mbps do I need? Any help would be appreciated!!!

Who are you currently with and have you spoken to them about reducing the costs?

You don't need broadband for TV unless you subscribe to BT-TV and Virgin I'm sure you can cancel this and just have the broadband package.

If you don't watch much TV then standard freeview maybe ideal for you, depending on what you watch.

if you are streaming a lot of content and also using the xbox online, then you would definitely be better getting the unlimited package.

Currently you need a phone line to get broadband but you don't need to have the calling package and can keep phone unplugged (we have our home phone unplugged as never used due to fact unlimited calling plans on mobiles)

You can look at various providers and see what they can offer you, some provide good deals to new customers
