dnb2861 Â Â 10 #1 Posted April 22, 2016 I need a kitchen door for a kitchen that is supplied by the council. I'm not a council tenant and it's not for a kitchen in a council house. It's the light beech coloured door. I stopped a kier driver to ask the other day but they hadn't a clue as Sharrow industries has gone. Berberis   10 #4 Posted April 22, 2016 How did you get hold of a council house kitchen if it's not fitted in a council house?
 Share this content via...
the_bloke   17 #5 Posted April 22, 2016 How did you get hold of a council house kitchen if it's not fitted in a council house?  Who knows. A certain amount of kitchen and bathroom fixtures and fittings left the warehouse during the Decent Homes initiative without ever being fitted into homes at all. A friend of a friend was sacked after being caught stealing showers which he was selling on, he'd been doing it for years. Apparently he'd also been selling on tap sets, cupboard doors, sheets of worktops, floor coverings etc.  Edit: No, I'm not suggesting the OP has got a nicked kitchen, but it did happen. Berberis   10 #8 Posted April 22, 2016 buy an ex council house?  Could be, I was wondering thats all if there was a way to buy, any oversupply kitchens. Just seemed like an opportunity that's all. I was not insinuating anything by my question.
 Share this content via...
