Sad thing is there is no one around in the current political scene that inspires the nation.

Current politics seems to be about crisis management and no scheme to get everyone pulling together to improve society for all.

Selfishness seems to rule.

JC is the only real man with an ounce of decency at Westminster

Which one?

James Cartlidge Conservative MP for South Suffolk

Jo Churchill Conservative MP for Bury St Edmunds

or

James Cleverly Conservative MP for Braintree?

If he's a puppet of the unions, why would he go against the unions in his support for wanting to disarm nuclear weapons?

Well you fingered it perfectly. He is in the pocket of the unions because his policy is to get rid of Trident, but to look after his union mates still sqander £31 billion building unarmed submarines. You can't get a clearer picture of the man than that.

If only someone had the power and authority to correct the title:rolleyes:

()

Did find this a bit odd also! :D

As the choice is likely to be between Osborne and Corbyn, I'm 100% for Jeremy

Good man

And given that many ordinary people, not previously interested in politics, nor rank and file members, queue up to listen to Jeremy Corbyn speak, that says to me that they don't see him a political dinosaur. Personally I think the people of this country have been living under the tired old relic of neoliberal policies for 40 years which have been tested to destruction, and they are sick of it and want something new

I totally agree with you Mister M

As per usual! :D

"Affairs with members of his team", and other accusations you've levelled against him all sound pretty desperate to me. I could mention Cameron with his penis in a dead pigs mouth, but that would be puerile.

With homelessness and inequality high on the agenda I think it's Cameron's ideas that are taking us back to a regressive Victorian era.

The nice thing about opinions is that I can have mine, and you can have yours. Neither of us speak for the electorate.

Of course he's a puppet of the unions; you mention nuclear disarmament - his original plan was to scrap Trident and to close all the supporting facilities. The unions got grumpy about job losses, so he backtracked then issued his ridiculous plan to keep all the infrastructure and jobs intact and just have nuclear subs without the nukes. A plan that makes no sense apart from preserving jobs, as requested by the unions.

In an ever shrinking public sector Corbyn is the unions last gasp of having influence over Government policy, and considering Corbyn's policies are straight out of Foot's manifesto the pay off for the unions are huge if Corbyn was to ever make it as PM. I'm not worried though, as I'm still not convinced he'll make it to 2018 let alone 2020.

The Tories want the messiah-with-the-beard JC to last all the way through the parliament. Whoever does eventually replace him, cannot possibly be any better for them, than JC is now.

I'm glad to hear it. What about Corbyn?

Corbyn will keep the Torys in power for sure, the vocal left think he's the next messiah but everyone else thinks he's a complete clown.

Milliband had a better chance at being PM, and he got totally trounced.

Yes I can imagine how they must be shaking. Do you think they will be quaking in their boots then after the Scottish elections next month?

Scottish National Party.........................69

Scottish Liberal Democrat.......................5

.

Scottish Conservative & Unionist Party....15

So how many seats will the resurgent Labour take from the Tories and the SNP?

What sort of result do you think Labour would need here to make folk think they were credible?

Let me give you a clue. Labour held 56 seats here under Blair.

You can't really tell, because it's more a measure of how popular the SNP is rather than Labour.

Personally I think SNP will drop a few seats because that mad cow in charge is making them look like a right old bunch of nutters.
