Yes our whole family did, we were also in the Cubs and Scouts and my sisters in the Brownies and the Guides - did all the Whit walks to High Hazels Park and Christmas plays and bonfire nights.

We lived on Nightingale St.

Yes, i was in Girls Brigade. Remember the whit walks too, and the lorries all dressed up and everyone following them. Such good fun, always seemed a long way to high hazels then. Oh yes bonfire nights, that too seemed a massive event at the time. Had some good times there. I lived on Boden Road just off Mandervolle St.
