On my statement of a countries natural resources it is buried in EU Constitution , of which you will have to let me trace it for authenticity.

What is more concerning is the amount of money donated to EU coffers without any accountability in over 20 years. Where is all the money going , over the years must amount to trillions of Euros.

The whole organisation needs accountability and we need to know where our money goes , because we dont get much back in return.

I thought that we voted in MEPs who voted on the EU laws? I also thought that our elected leaders appointed the civil service commissioners who help run the EU?

Well, that's certainly the way it looks. :|

However you look at the figures we get far less back from the EU coffers than we put in. The sooner we're out the better.

In reply to JFKvNixon, ,should be understood the EU is run and controlled by unelected bureaucrats , who are irremovable from their powers. MEP's are elected from each country , and from Britain amount to about 6%, and really the European Parliament is a joke with no authority, but laws are in place by the unelected. Look at fishing rights in our waters , look at mass immigration of which a country's MEP's would not have sanctioned such gross immigration to their country.

These EU laws are against any concept of democracy , and we as a nation should realise this is a fanatical drive to build a United States of Europe which is unaccountable to any representation. You can call it a underhanded plan to take over Europe by peaceful means as against the method utilised by Hitlers Third Reich.

Further points to ponder although I do not have documentary proof, is the role Cameron is playing on remaining in the EU along with Merkel. Could be they have been selected for the future to this unelected Commissioner status in the EU for their roles in keeping the EU together.

Dont forget Cameron's great great grandfather a trafficker in the Opium wars , and Cameron of Rothchilds stock, so in a well heeled position to take such a job. Its funny that he has stated he will leave parliament after this session. Likewise William Hague left the Tory party very quickly without any reason.?

Me thinks Cameron heading for a fall as the old saying goes give them enough rope they hang themselves. Sheffield has a great history it should be pride of it steelmaking is part of that and its future if given the chance ,the younger generation need real jobs and a future its asking no more than what previous generations had.

Unfortunately critters like Cameron who had no experience of life or work related ethics, go on to generate huge salaries , their P.M. wages are insignificant .

Blair , who should have been in the dock for crimes against humanity now commands millions in rewards from bogus regimes. These people are unaccountable for their blunders, and usually have ulterior motives for their actions, certainly not for the benefit of the UK population

The laws have to be passed by the elected members of the EU parliament, so I have no idea what you're talking about.

Yes - this picture says it all. ;)

Do you know what's interesting about your picture - Us and France have more power than the Germans.

The structure and laws were formed from the commissioners.

There is no doubt the unelected bureaucratic commissioners of the EU will ensure the UK does not regain its Industrial status and no way would they allow the UK Parliament to Nationalise the Steel industry or any other vital resource.

Eh? But to return to topic:
Yes Mr. H. 100+ years of not only steel ... and then the roof somewhat fell in!
It certainly fell in on a large slice of the manufacturing sector, but as the world's fifth-largest economy, with one of the lowest unemployment rates in Europe we must be doing something right. :)
