ken_lym
I was recently approached by a lady (don't want to mention her name here) acting as a sales representative for Studio C branded stationery. Both of the conversation over the phone and the meeting in a local cafe went well until I rejected her offer today. After a few emails and phone calls, I texted her this afternoon and said politely "Sorry, but it is a no from us. Good Luck." This lady then turned to be desperate, phoning me while I was in another meeting, then sent me a long moaning email before I even had chance to phone her back. Anyone had a similar experience before? Love2print
Never heard of the them, so I Googled and found their website and your thread on another forum. Before I even read the other forum post I was going to suggest that maybe it was the sort of company where you have to buy samples/catalogues etc and she needed to make the money back for that. Bit like Avon/Kleeneze. That fact that she had one last pallet of stock which she wanted £1300 for sounds like she is/was desperate to get rid of it in order to recoup some money. Either that or claiming it is the last pallet is just a tactic to get you to buy it but I think, not sure why, that she is just desperate.
ken_lym
Many thanks for your comment. I was just wondering whether this was just kind of fraud. I ignored her last moaning email completely, as it sounds very emotional and unprofessional if she was indeed a regional sale representative of Carolina Pad, and I blocked her phone in my contact list just in case. I posted this in a business forum which I normally use for business-related matters, but many thanks 'Love2Print', you are indeed the first person who seriously looked into it for me. Very much appreciated!
