shellbelle
Does anyone know if there are any charities that recycle spectacles to countries overseas? The reason I ask is I have spectacles that are in great condition and it just seems such a shame to have to throw them away?
S8 Blade
Yes! Vision Aid Overseas and Sightsavers are two of the main ones. Contact your local opticians or any in town and ask them if they take donations. Many of them have collection boxes and send them off periodically. You can donate old pairs of glasses and they have them sent to charities who donate them to third world.
