Cyclone   10 #85 Posted March 10, 2016 This reminds me, at about this spot  https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.4223452,-1.5208539,195m/data=!3m1!1e3  The contractors appear to have dumped either the waste from scraping the footpath, or some left over tarmac over the side of the wall onto the verge.  Any idea who to report this too? Â Did our road first then footpaths but that might have been partly to do with not all lamp posts had been replaced but I think most of them are in grass not actual foot paths
 Share this content via...
WalkleyIan   10 #91 Posted March 11, 2016 The usual order of events is where I’ve seen it is  new lamppost put in first plus associated digging up of pavements and wiring upgrades where needed.  Remove old lamppost and fit new LED heads to the new pole  New curbs to replace those broken and then fill pavement back up and put down the base layer of tarmac.  Strip back then resurface the main carriageway  Put final top coat on pavement once it’s been snagged. That can be some weeks later.  To be fair that seems like a pretty sensible order of doing it
 Share this content via...
