rainbow2411 Â Â 11 #30 Posted February 27, 2016 Â Did you always save the last dance for him? Â Yes, at that time they used to play the song at the end of the night and Graham would find me and take me home. It didn't last long but it was sweet while it lasted. TORONTONY   10 #33 Posted February 27, 2016 And that's another of my favourite songs 'Young Love', Tab Hunter was one of my first 'hearthrobs', now there's an age give away  Remember the song and know what he looks like but was he a film star who had a hit song or vice versa? Way I look at age, and we are pretty close in that regard, I would guess, is that all the best wines and cheeses are at their best the older they get. There, now you know my defensive strategy against ageing, lol;)
 Share this content via...

This reminds me of 2 other great records, Bobby Darins 'Dream Lover' and Sarah Vaughans 'Broken Hearted Melody' Â Dream Lover brings back a lot of memories. Did you ever see that film about Bobby called Beyond the Sea? Kevin Spacey is amazing and does his own singing.
 Share this content via...

Kevin Spacey is amazing and does his own singing.  That's something I'd like to see! Bobby Darin's 'Beyond the sea/La Mer' is one of my favs. I couldn't pick one, so many already mentioned hit the spot, especially those on Lushcannons list. I'll add one more, the Kinks 'Thank you for the day'.
 Share this content via...
