Danny_Boy   10 #13 Posted February 10, 2016 My tactics, book two weeks off work whenever, wait until two weeks before my holidays start, open up Thomson's app on iPad and trawl for last minute deals. Got a week in Halkidiki in a lovely family run 4* apartment last year including flights (with plenty of leg room on the new 737) transfer on a luxury coach etc. Was self catering but only £180 each and that was in the school summer holidays. I do it every year apart from this year as on Honeymoon this year so pushed the boat out a bit haha. Can't recommend Thomson's enough they're absolutely brilliant.
