verona   10 #25 Posted December 28, 2017 My window cleaner used the pole method and it was leaving the glass with water marks and the sills and frames were dirty. I was being charged £10 a month for the privilege so I got rid as I’m sure he was just using normal tap water. I prefer the ladder method as you get a better result. kaytie   11 #27 Posted December 29, 2017 Anyone know a window cleaner who works Crookes area preferably using traditional means. Our former cleaner hasnt been around for nearly a year now. Changed to the pole thing which, due to the closeness of the phone wires, meant only part of the windows were reached. Then suddenly never appeared without even collecting money due.
