Black Swan landlord in the '60s?

Recommended Posts

They played the Sheffield scene a lot though and at least one member was from Sheffield as his sister dated my oldest son in the 90's ,don't remember the name though.

Yes Mr. T. Thank you , and anyway their hit " The Night Chicago Died', I thought was an neither here nor there, but adjectives like 'awful' could be applied.

"Billy don't be a hero" was even worse lol. The Chicago song made most of it's money in the US. Had they used Nottingham ( 3 syllables like Chicago) they would have stayed doing the clubs forever:D

One of my friends was a 'go-go dancer' there in the 70' - it was good money. She did a circuit of 3 pubs which I used to drive her between - and on a Sunday in that 2 hour opening time.

No one has used her name for the place yet - The Mucky Duck!

Yes, I think you are correct, Alfredo's rings a bell.

No hpettit she was not a Gilly. I'm a bit coy about revealing (:hihi:) her ID but her nickname incorporated her christian name and a noun connected with the job.

Let's see if anyone comes up with it. (OMG double entendres abound)

Nope - how does that sound connected with the job?

There were many other girl dancers who worked there but this one was quite well known and I can't remember the names of the others.
