Bluefeline   10 #17 Posted February 6, 2016 I want to buy some proper bangers in Sheffield not Supermarket crap. Any ideas?  Try the pork butchers in the market called Watterall Brothers. They are amazing, been going there for years.
 Share this content via...

FIRETHORN1 Â Â 58 #23 Posted February 6, 2016 Funks, Pearsons, Talbots and Crawshaws in Hillsborough all do pretty nice sausages, including some quite tasty tomato sausages. I tend to prefer "traditional" sausages like simple pork sausages, Cumberland or Lincolnshire - I'm not a big fan of poncey sausages like venison or wild boar, or with apple, leeks, stilton etc. Â I think that the bog-standard brands like Richmonds and Walls and most basic supermarket "own brands" are not very nice, but I don't think that all sausages you can buy in supermarkets are crap - I like Farmer Blacks, Porky Whites, Debbie & Andrews....and Sainsburys "Taste the Difference" pork sausages are pretty good too. Nagel   10 #24 Posted February 6, 2016 Kemke's Butchers on Abbeydale Road. Great sausages and nice people.  I recommend his skinny sausages with chilli which have just the right level of spice, nothing overpowering just a nice bite to them.
