itcrowd   10 #1 Posted February 3, 2016 There was an armed robbery this evening at Tesco on Sharrow Lane. It happened at about 9:05pm.  Allegedly two chaps rushed in and there was talk that they had a knife.  They ordered everyone in the shop to get on the floor and demanded all the cash.  Apparently the Tesco staff were amazing and knew what to do. Nobody was hurt.  There is a photo here of the police who turned up.  There usually is a security guard on duty but tonight he wasn't there.
