The Claymore Arundel Gate. I was only just 16 years old and a few of us used to go in during our work lunch hour.

Was that before the advent of the Flip Flop.

Red Lion back of city hall,

2 pints of proper stones, then into the dance in the city hall.

Spent all night in the bog with Hughie.

Foresters on Division Street, mid eighties, chosen at random with some mates from school. I'd have been 15 or even 14. Little did we know!

One not mentioned on here.

Pomona Hotel.

The old one, not the new one now Champs.

It had a glass conservatory thing at the back and if we behaved ourselves :suspect: we could get served

See the source image

Notice the long gone 'Wicks' to the right hand side.

Red Lion Holly St had to be a close second for the underage partaking of .

Keep safe out there 8)

Robin Hood at Little Matlock I think.

My pal asked for 2 pints and the landlord asked him what did he want 2 pints of.

Can't remember the pub name, but it was in Skegness. My Dad took me in and bought me a beer. I was 16.

I managed to drink it but I thought it was horrible, and can remember thinking that if this is what beer tastes like I shan't be drinking it again.

Things turned out differently of course.
