Beached whale comes to Sheffield

Is Sheffield becoming England's dustbin? Do we still incinerate everyone else's rubbish here too, polluting our air with toxic fumes and shortening our lifespan?

 

In short, yes. I think Veolia recently applied to relax planning conditions to allow waste to be brought in from further afield.

I cannot understand why the Japanese have not been called in to remove these whales and find out why they died. Unbelievably so, since all their whaling activity is in the name of 'research' - how could they refuse an opportunity like this?

I've just come back from Meadowhall and I've seen loads of beached whales in the oasis feeding on Big Macs. Not a pleasant sight:gag:
