Jaxxman
I had problems yesterday (Wed 27th) at home with DAB Radio 2 & Radio 4. My car as DAB & had exactly the same problem where it kept on auto switching between DAB Radio 2 & FM Radio 2 (only switches if there is a poor digital signal). But once I had left the Sheffield area & was on the M1 southbound I had no issues & DAB worked perfect. When driving back home last night, no issues until is started coming close to Sheffield & it started auto switching to FM. So my guess is that there is a local transmitter issue. cgksheff
Transmitter Checker on here: https://www.radioandtvhelp.co.uk/interference/rtis_radio/lost_DABradio It didn't show much when DAB went to pot yesterday, but is currently showing an issue with the Clifton Transmitter (although my reception is back to normal): https://ukfree.tv/transmitters/dab/Clifton Edited January 28, 2016 by cgksheff
mc55
I had same issues, but not quite as 'horrific' ( ) as yesterday ... interestingly in the same part of Sheffield (but OK on the way back tonight)
truman
My DAB radio isn't working very well today, anyone else having signal problems? Not sure if it has gone wrong or if the transmitter has gone down, weather was pretty terrible last night. Had a problem with most of the BBC stations on DAB..others seemed to be OK..
