Sheffield's 5k Race for Life is a great distance for all abilities. Looking for an extra challenge this year? Double the distance at a 10k or get down and dirty at Pretty Muddy. You can take part however you like and choose to run, jog, dance or walk your way around the course. So charge along with your friends, daughters, mums and grans and let's bring forward the day when all cancers are cured!

Under 6 entry (Girls and boys): free and no registration needed

This is a great family friendly venue so don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. There will also be some extra activities and items to buy so please remember to bring some spare change!

The course

 

The Sheffield route is flat and all on tarmac. It starts outside the Oasis at Meadowhall and heads out onto the surrounding roads. It follows the outskirts of the shopping centre and heads down to run along the picturesque riverside before heading back. The event has an amazing atmosphere - you couldn’t ask for anything better.

 

Meeting point

 

The start line is in the main orange zone car park, by the entrance to the Oasis.
