Before voting for Labour again, Visit Cuba

Recommended Posts

I have just returned from the socialist paradise of Cuba. 5 million people living on an island 3/4s the size of the UK yet whose agriculture is so undeveloped it has to import most of its food.

A doctor to every 150 people. Doctors who earn one 10th of what a taxi driver earns. Transport out of Havana is medieval. Largely horse and cart.

If this is what 50 years of socialism has given these poor sods, make sure you vote Tory at every opportunity.

Not sure of its relevance to our Country. Although as a Ukip voter, Liebour and Cons are both as bad as each other to me.

Did you bring home any Cuban cigars rolled on the thighs of virgin women?

had they not been under sanctions for the last few decades?

I'm sure the uk would be in such a state if it had endured such sanctions.

No danger of me ever voting Labour. Hell will freeze over first.

Strange thing but I do believe that Cuban economy was in ruins before revolution.

Only national industry being casinos and brothels for rich americans in Havana.

They had really poor start and embargo.

They did quite well for what they could work with.

Only reason this country is in better shape is because ye olde English were oppressing americans, not other way round.

And doctor per 150 people is more then double what we've got.

If my memory serves me right americans go to Cuba to get cheap quality healthcare and Cubans export doctors to whole south america.

I was told that in 1963 they had a choice of the Mafia or Castro. In view of what happened to Las Vegas, they should have chosen the mafia.

Nice of you to conveniently forget about 60 years worth of embargo.

Cuba was/is a communist regime, which if you read up is quite different from democratic socialists.

Cuba has over twice as many doctors per thousand than the UK. They also have a better child survival rate than their neighbours, the USA.

The UK imports 40% of its food.

The UK has not had an economic embargo for 60 years.

Cuba has never had a Labour government.

Not a very good attempt from the OP. I'll give him marks for getting his name spelt correctly, well done.
