Wonder if it's the Bellhouse's that use to be on Wheta Road shops when I was a lad Mrs Bellhouse was a very nice lady always gave us kids a sweet when we went to the shop.

My mum used to work at Bellhouses chippy on Wheata rd, the proprietor was Bill Bellhouse, on all accounts a charming man who used to ride the motorcycle 'wall of death'.

Is this the chippy on Valley Road, Meersbrook?

This used to be owned by a chap called Flint in the 1960's and they were very good then, the old style range etc.

I was wondering that if it was the one next to the fruit shop on the left hand side going up from London Road
