dars35   10 #2 Posted January 23, 2016 the only thing I can think that can be is when you're fishing hard banded pellet shallow on the pole, many anglers flick the pole tip round to slap the rig & bait on the surface to create a carp-attracting noise, never heard it called "spinning" though  honestly can't think of anything else that expression could be...
