gutted :-( I saw all four of them yesterday morning. No news on the Norwich site about what happened to the other one. Dad has done a great job considering what he has been up against.

According to the Norwich forum, the first chick fledged at 6.47 this morning. Local radio reports are saying that "its on the ground close to a main walkway, so don't think Dad will come down to feed her as its a well used place". They're just hoping now that someone from the Trust will come and help her. Fingers crossed.

The HOT volunteers in Norwich say she's on the turrets and not on the ground.

There is a video of the fledging and it clearly shows she flew off quite confidently.

The HOT forum has posts from locals saying she's been photographed up on the spires and turrets, so not sure where the radio report came from.

Cheers woggle. Just read the HOT twitter account. She landed on a low wall and was rescued by a guy from the Trust who took her back up to the roof of the bell tower. It's a good read spelling out the dangers when all four fledge - as to how Dad will cope with watching over them all as well as feeding them. Also what interaction there may be from GA.

Im off up there tomorrow night so will see the layout better.

The male has been amazing getting them this far on his own.

GA hadn't made any attempt to go near the scrape but when they're flying round she might see them as a threat

Really sad after all the hard work Norman put in. Worried now for how GA reacts to remaining chicks when they fledge.

All 3 Norwich juveniles still alive in Norwich - still 2 to fledge - 3rd one seen this evening.

 

One bird asleep on the ledge next to the nest box in Sheffield

 

Only one left in the box (asleep) in Bath and that one is so close to the edge that if it rolls over in bed (or whatever the equivalent phrase in bird language would be) it could fall off the edge

 

One bird visible in Wakefield and two birds in Derby
