Penistone road closure

Hi all- don't want to discuss the incident- just like to know if The road is open again. Had to leave my car and leg it to kids school to pick them up. Just want to know if it's worth fetching the car yet.

I came down Fox Hill road and was the first car to be stopped from trying to turn right at the bottom on to Halifax road!

 

It took me twice as long to get to Greehnhill (An hour!) but I count myself as very lucky!!

 

Does anyone know what caused the closure?
