Hesther
I've just caught the last couple of minutes of the BBC news item (finishing around 08:45 this morning, if anyone can find it on the net) about Steven Storey and his Dr John Snowden at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. It was truly inspirational. Well done Sheffield Hospitals and to all involved in this. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-35065905

Hesther
I'm not surprised. This is very good news and according to the article treatment costs around 30k which is around a yearly course of treatment for MS for some sufferers. There is a Panorama programme featuring this tonight: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06ss17g
Eater Sundae
Great story. And an added bonus that it is a good advert for Sheffield.

Daven
Sheffield also has very highly ranked cardiac, renal and vascular units too.
Eric Arthur
The documentary was fantastically done, very respectful, and let the participants have their own voices. It's really nice to see a good news story like that one, especially with the local connection.

Eric Arthur
And about the NHS. Yes indeed, and the University and all the other organisations involved in this great work across the world. Let's get straight to it, it's a project run by talented people wherever they happen to work.
