Gateway Estate (Dene Place/Stoney Croft Road)

We are looking into moving to the Gateway estate, the location is perfect for us . My only concern is that these are relatively new houses and i am aware of stories around new builds being poorly made and although we would only have one neighbor sharing a wall (looking likely to get an end terrace), I am wondering if the noise travels into next door. Some of the properties have en suites so I am thinking it may be possible to hear the shower of next door in the bedroom ect. When it comes to having viewing it is not like you can sit in the house for a couple of hours and see what noise travels when.

 

Can any share their experiences of living in that area?
