hi does anyone know a contact telephone number or email address pls that is not the call center as i have rung that and got nowhere thank you

 

nice English call centre signed us up.

cowboy sub contractor came to install but not as requested.

talk talk engineer missed appointment then came to next appointment 2 months after without ladders he knew were required to complete the job to our requirements.

billed £29.99 for "a missed appointment"

since then going round in circles with indian call centre.

People have left Talk Talk in droves after their massive data breach.

Lots of customer details were released, the company couldn't care less.

 

One of the worse around, their public comments on the situation bordered wee basically illagal at times.

Hi Mandy, if you log in to your account on the TT website you can chat to someone, I prefer using that as it is more immediate and not such a pain to wait.

 

@Muckymurphy - that cowboy and all consequent appointments would have been with Openreach, who do this work for all providers, TalkTalk haven't got a callcentre in India as far as I am aware (I never have had an Indian on the phone) you must have been calling at peak times to get put through to them.

 

@Geared - they care alright, based on the amount of freebies they are throwing my way at the moment!

I'd love to know what they are - I am not on fibre - just basic with TVPlus - all they offered after the debacle of security issue was either some phone deal which was irrelevant, and a free speed check - not impressed but not moving! :hihi:

 

As to Outreach, that is spot on - I came across a Guardian article where an Internet Champion explained following investigations that he had no internet connection with TalkTalk for 74 days was due to BT Openreach failing to keep 2 appointments causing the customer loss of 2 days pay for time taken off work to wait for BT Openreach!

I am currently enjoying three months free Sky Sports and got free anytime calls for a year after I lodged a complaint about them promising lower bills for switching to fibre and ending up with higher bills, said I would leave if it wasn't resolved so they stuck the 'boost' on and gave me a discount. That is on top of the original 10£ discount I got for switching to fibre.

 

No, can't say I have many complaints about TT :)

Had talk talk and there service was shocking, router had to be reset all of the time, wifi range was shocking and when we came to cancel they said our security code was wrong and wouldn't cancel. After 5 or 6 phine calls and me losing my wrag i said im cancelling the direct debit and they will not get another penny and even at that they cut me off, absolutly shocking company !
