What are the public run and swim events?

Sorry, total noob. I'm wanting to do one of the run events Sheffield has, only problem is I know none of them by name or the distances and fees involved. Likewise, same with any swimming challenges that happen.

 

Do any of you have a list or know where I can find a list?

Google - Park Run. This is a 5K running event in locations around Sheffield,they take place every Saturday morning.

Search Park Run on this Forum, plenty of posts relating to the events and locations.

Endcliffe Park

Graves Park

Hillsborough Park

Castle (on City road)

Concord

 

There's also one at Rother Valley if you live in the south east of the city.
