i used to fish an old stretch of the river behind the factories on forge lane.

does anyone know who is running them now

I think you mean a bit of the old river course i think they called meddows pond used to be owned by westfield collery fishing club which has long scince ceased to exist

The River Rother runs behind Forge Lane near the works there & above Forge Lane there are some ponds.

good evening, stealthy, section of Rother at top of forge lane used to be run by killamarsh wmc. car park at top, park up climb over style and down to

the river, long time ago, permit covered pond at back of pig farm at Norwwod and river section Forge lane, brings back some good memmories,

had some great perch from that bit of river.

thats kjs up there which i have to say is expensive and manufactured.

 

i'll have to have a drive down and see if theres any signs up. i used to get some huge chub from there

Would the Meddows pond be the ponds that are surrounding by trees & a bit overgrown that are in the bottom fields quite near to the river ?
