The Friends of St Thomas will be holding a car boot at St Thomas of Canterbury school at Chancet Wood on Sunday 25 September. Cars will be charged at £5 no vans allowed. Cars can arrive from 9am and open to buyers from 10:30. There is a small entrance fee of 50p, there will be teas, coffee and bacon butties for sale. The Friends of St Thomas are a registered charity any money raised will be donated back to the school. Spaces are limited please email friend@st-tc.co.uk or phone 07773003894

Please could you tell me what dates are planned for Oct 16? Do we need to book a pitch or just turn up? If so what are the times etc? Thanks

There is a carboot sale on Saturday 1st Oct At Ecclesfield Secondary School.. Spaces are limited so please book via 07342966419- although you can pay on the day. Sellers to arrive at 8am. Buyers from 9am-1pm. Bouncy Castle, BBQ too all raising funds for Sheffield Rangers U8's football team.

Just like to leave feedback about the car boot at the weekend, 24th, held at the Waverley pub, Catcliffe/Brinsworth. To be honest wasn't too good, severe lack of buyers, around 25 sellers there all waiting eagerly. BUT it was the first boot there and needs time to get off the ground, certainly as the potential to be a lot better, should they decide to hold more. All sellers were parked on the grass area behind the pub, with plenty of room, and more if needed on hard standing. Stewards were all very helpful and friendly, refreshments well laid on, and a worthy charity benefitted. Pity it couldn't have been busier, this boot as potential, especially on a Saturday. Also heard from a couple of customers who did make it, that they had spent time looking in the Waverley area of Sheffield, apparently they had seen advertising that was lacking the "pub" bit off the end of Waverley:confused:

We have one booked for 9th October. You should be ok to just turn up on the day about 6.30

Should this therefore read 23 OCTOBER, which is a Sunday - in addition to this Sunday's one (9 October)?

Sorry I'm just getting abot confused with all the dates lol! Can I just confirm that there is a car boot sale at Tesco Infirmary Road this Sunday 9th October please?

 

I usually go to Tesco at Chesterfield but it's not running this week
