Romario   10 #1 Posted December 9, 2015 Hi, on behalf of my dad I'm looking for photos of Bookers Ltd garage which was at the bottom of Twentywell lane, Dore circa 1952. It's now a car sales room. There is 1 pic at archives of the garage 1961 but was wondering if anyone has any earlier.  Many thanks.
 Share this content via...
fatrajah   10 #2 Posted December 9, 2015 I thought the name was Bookless Brothers. My Dad took our Morris Minor convertible there for accident repairs in 1956.
 Share this content via...

PeterR   10 #7 Posted December 15, 2015 Hi Peter, yes this is the pic although the 1 after as the car is half a second forward. Will do cheers.  Ha Ha Romario.  I had one of those Austin A30s in 1965. It neither went very fast nor braked very quickly, so I would think 5 seconds would be nearer the mark  Peter.
