Bookers Ltd Garage, Twentywell lane.

Hi, on behalf of my dad I'm looking for photos of Bookers Ltd garage which was at the bottom of Twentywell lane, Dore circa 1952. It's now a car sales room. There is 1 pic at archives of the garage 1961 but was wondering if anyone has any earlier.

I thought the name was Bookless Brothers. My Dad took our Morris Minor convertible there for accident repairs in 1956.

Ah yes appologies, Bookless brothers Ltd. Any photos dating early to mid 50's?. My dad worked there then until going up the road to Dore.

Hi Peter, yes this is the pic although the 1 after as the car is half a second forward. Will do cheers.

I had one of those Austin A30s in 1965. It neither went very fast nor braked very quickly, so I would think 5 seconds would be nearer the mark
