I see - you're definition of "phenomenal" is somewhat less than miniscule - but you're just trolling again.

Tongue in cheek as opposed to trolling, but no matter how miniscule there is still some degree of pollution saving, and a good minute or 2 time saving, by performing the U turn rather than drive right out to the roundabout and back down again.

Annoying that the pedestrian gap to walk between Graves Leisure and the retail park is now blocked . We used to go there whilst kids were doing activities. I understand parking is poor at Graves but not sure this was necessary.

It's not risking people's lives. A slow U turn at a set of traffic lights with no pedestrian crossing is not endangering anyone. It's not a few seconds either.

Absolutely phenomenal. Saving the unnecessary burning of fossil fuels and contributing to saving the planet.

And creeping slowly through a red light when there’s no traffic is ok as well I assume?

It's not dangerous, but running a red light is against the law, so it's not ok. Since there isn't a "no U turns" sign at the retail park lights then it isn't a valid comparison.
