nikki-red   308 #181 Posted August 7, 2018 The Heeley site was sold by a corporate pension fund to investment management firm Mayfair Capital. It comprises six main units, a Costa Coffee 'pod' and 289 parking spaces. The remaining tenants are Boots, Currys PC World and Matalan. Mayfair confirmed the park was staying, and also dispelled local speculation that the land would be turned into housing. "The park isn't for sale and isn't being converted into residential," a spokesman said.   A Star article from last week...  https://www.thestar.co.uk/business/sheffield-retail-park-not-shutting-despite-store-closures-owner-says-1-9276174
 Share this content via...
Fudbeer   12 #182 Posted August 7, 2018 They need to get the vacant units let quickly.  I would say if one more of the big 3 ,Boots ,Currys or Matalan go then it will kill it.  Its a shame because it took years to get that park established. WarPig   78 #185 Posted October 25, 2018 The only frustrating bit is how tight it is to drive around and turn in/out of junctions. Surprisingly there is no cash machine.
 Share this content via...
JJRB   10 #186 Posted October 25, 2018 The layout of the parking has not been thought out and is too tight. On the entrance at the end of the road you can’t turn left without cutting across to the other side and often there is traffic waiting to turn. scousemouse   10 #188 Posted October 28, 2018 .................the car parking is awful. Spaces too small, and if you are at the Aldi end, if you are not aware of the exit, you have to be careful no to miss it. There is bound to be a accident sooner or later, particularly near Christmas when it will be manic!.
 Share this content via...

JJRB Â Â 10 #191 Posted October 28, 2018 Never say never. Â Drakehouse Retail Park had the bright idea (????) of allowing a Starbucks drive through in the middle of the car park creating less parking and more congestion.....
