Land with planning

I have recently been granted planning on some residential Land in Hillsborough

 

I am wanting to get the best price for it without having to fork out lots for the CGT

 

Does anyone have any advice on any professionals I could get assistance from

 

1) getting advice on getting the best price (recommended agents)

1) best way to (legally) use the tax efficiency devices

There's no such thing as legal 'tax efficiency devices' the tax due is the tax due. An advisor can help you to calculate this and ensure you make use of any deductions and reliefs that you are properly entitled to.

I can't find anything helpful about minimising CGT when selling land. About the only possibility appears to be selling it split across tax years so that you can take advantage of your CGT allowance twice, that might be more tricky with land than it would be with shares though.
