The Sutherlands brand was sold back in the '80s and is now part of Greencore.

The family have recently gone back into the business and make a high-end paste called Granny Mary's.

They work out of Chesterfield.

Apologies if in the wrong section, but it is Sheffield related...

My sister has been looking to buy some Sutherland's Yorkshire Potted Beef, but it seems to have disappeared from the supermarkets...first Morrison's, then Tesco, and even Waitrose (even though still on their website). It seems to have been replaced by Bingham's version, which doesn't taste as nice (I'm told!).

So, does anyone know if this is still being sold locally, or have they shut it down for good?
