There is a car park I think it's behind the pub that used to be The Pomona. It was a DWP building but now they just rent out the car park, 3 pounds a day

You need to keep up with the news - the supreme court has ruled that parking fines can be justified and legally enforcable; they don't have to prove material loss, and the fines don't have to be a genuine pre-estimate of loss.

Well they aren't fines but speculative invoices as it's a breach of contract. Funny how data protection never works for the little guy and these parking companies can find your details with a small payment to the DVLA, whilst the companies themselves seem to hide behind using a box number for their address (Presumably to stop their offices being petrol bombed).

Tell them to sue the landlords. In order to charge someone to park there, the landlords have to prove material loss as a result of said parking, this is difficult to do.

I would take them to court, a summons costs £30 and the landlords will probably just settle out of court as it would be expensive to pay for representation.

They went to court & lost! What do you think CCJ stands for?

Thank you to everyone who has responded to this post. Some answers more helpful than others :) I have decided to park on a side road and walk down which will be easier for me thanks
