Church at Burngreave

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a photo of the church at Burngreave - Burngreave Road / Spital Hill/ Ellesmere Road. Not All Saints Church. I remember my father doing the makeup for dancing shows there in the early 1950s.

Thanks to you both!!! That's the one I remember!!!!

The 'Wicker Congs' which also had an entrance on Gower Street, was demolished in 1965.

When the church closed we used to play inside. I remember in an office there was a load of photographs of who I think must have been the preachers who had served there.
