Wood cutting service

Hello,

 

I'm looking for somewhere in Sheffield that I could take a small amount of wood to them and be cut to a small exact size I need.

 

Anyone know if this is possible?

B&Q do a cutting service for a charge but you have to purchase the timber there as far as I know.

Yeah I already have the wood. Just need someone to cut it to the right thickness.

I am trying to cut down two surplus kitchen doors into 3 pieces,approximately 38cm square for an oddment d.i.y job

The doors are faced MDF and cut easily.

My problem is trying to get a straight and parallel cut on the 2 cut edges with the saws at my disposal i.e. a jig saw and a band saw.

Is there a joiners shop or another diy er,who has a table saw that would do the job in about 10 minutes.

I have tried Lavers and Timber Specialists,but sadly they will not help me out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know it’s an old post,but I used it to find someone who could cut my own material to specific sizes.

Its like walking into a Tardis.

Lavers and Timber Specialists would not assist.Richardsons could not have been more helpful.
