freshcoffee   10 #1 Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) Been buying the big bags of logs from B&Q, but my log burner is really small. I can only fit logs 8 inches (maximum) in length into it, which makes life rather difficult. Half the logs in the bag won't fit inside!  Bought myself an axe to chop the bigger logs, but for many reasons this isn't practical for me. I also don't drive, so if anyone knows of someone who'd be able to deliver small logs to me (Hillsborough area) I'd be very grateful.  Thanks in advance Edited October 12, 2015 by freshcoffee Edited for clarity
 Share this content via...
Onthetyne   10 #2 Posted October 12, 2015 I don't understand why people buy logs from b n q, it's total and utter madness Lots of people buy log burners for the wrong reason and have no idea
 Share this content via...

c00kie   10 #5 Posted October 13, 2015 Worth trying briquettes, perhaps, which can be broken up by hand; e.g.  http://www.theguardian.com/money/2015/oct/10/briquettes-clean-fuel-fireplace-wood-burning-stove  Home bargains do some quite cheap, apparently, if you want to give them a try. crookesy   10 #6 Posted October 13, 2015 Our briquettes come in 50mm diameter by 50mm long , we can make them longer but we have found keeping them short gives you a really solid briquette which will burn longer and hotter ! We have loads of bags in stock, if anyone is interested we are based on leppings lane in Hillsborough
 Share this content via...
