Police officer killed in Wallasey, Merseyside

Recommended Posts

Indeed there is !

An assault on a police officer is an intentional act of aggression towards someone in authority doing their job.

This can hardly be compared to agricultural accidents :loopy: I'm not sure where the poster dragged that comparison from !

The Policeman was killed while using a piece of equipment known as a stinger which is used to deflate tyres on moving vehicles . We don't really know despite media reports if the driver was trying to avoid the stinger and accidently killed the Policeman or delibrately killed him which is murder . My response was in reply to another poster who stated they were confused the incident was described as murder . Regardless of whether it is manslaughter or murder, I think the killer or murderer deserves a life prison sentence .

As previously stated, it's very sad a person doing any job is killed while working . Someone working in the agriculture industry is more likely to die while working than a Policeman which is the comparison I made .
