I'm in S6. The other day when I was standing outside waiting for a taxi at 4:30am I could here a distant industrial banging noise. I thought maybe it could be from the work that is going on in town in between West Bar and the Wicker. I imagine in the quiet of night, noise from that would travel and be heard from afar.

I heard it in Winco lastnight about 1 am. Obviously off in the distance....possibly from the Don Valley area. A loud sort of scrape sound. As if a skip or container was been dragged along the tarmac. Was slightly eerie at times. At some points it sounded like a strange low level screaming sound.
