Best place is near wifes mother because thats were you will finish up anyway .

 

....or they end up moving next to you. Make sure you live somewhere she can't afford to.....

Can't go wrong with Mosborough (the old village part), grew up there, on the edge of the countryside, great walks.

 

There aren't many places where the reputation & rumours match the reality.

I know its quite shocking, i have yet to see an estate advert which mentions "suitable for young professionals" in the mosborough area

It depends on what you can afford, if you cant get together £200k you aren't buying a house in those areas!

 

eh? You can easily but a 3-bed terrace for less than that in many of those areas (Crookes, Walkley etc)

I suspect that he was replying to the post about Greystones and Ecclesall Rd, not Crookes and Walkley.
