The scout bonfire in Dore is definitely going ahead I've seen them building it although there wasn't a sign up but I presume it will be on sat it usually is?

We're looking forward to a smashing night tomorrow at our annual bonfire event and we hope everyone has a fantastic time with us! Thanks to all local residents who are supporting this event...it's your night and we will do our best to make the event a great night out for all the family. Just a quick reminder as always...safety is a main priority so please don't bring personal fireworks or sparklers to the event, save them to enjoy at home! Due to the poor weather the funfair will be on the carpark area again...so there will be no on site parking, but provision will be made for a disabled persons "drop off point" at the front of the clubhouse should you need it. Thanks once again to everyone for supporting us -and just a reminder..anyone is welcome to apply to join the club as an associate member....you don't have to be able to drive a bus to join us!!!!

Thank you to those at the Brothers Arms for a slightly chaotic but great night last night. After spending an hour or so in your pub (swerving the queue for the food but it looked great), we went to meet friends to watch the display on the grass as I was feeling a little claustrophobic. All in all, a great free event.

What a fantastic night!! A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!! We had a smashing crowd attend this event and the kids loved every minute...as did the adults!! as Bassett One said..this event just gets better every year. The support from Greenhill, Batemoor, Lowedges and Bradway TARAs was hugely appreciated, and we can't wait to see the work of our wonderful volunteer photographers Dave and Sue, who worked tirelessly to record the evnt for us! We at the Transport Club think it's great that the entire community is now working together to make this event such a great success.....and we want to stress again just how much we welcome new members, don't think you have to work for Transport to join us, everyone is welcome to become a member - just call in the bar and pick up an application form!

THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE....WORKING TOGETHER REALLY GETS RESULTS!!
