Timeh   10 #13 Posted October 3, 2015 Well lets see how the Russians do now they're in the act.  Well if they blow up no hospitals and kill no doctors i reckon they will do ok.  ---------- Post added 03-10-2015 at 20:12 ----------  Well lets see how the Russians do now they're in the act. The only way to sort this part of the world out is for a coalition of US, European, Russian and Chinese troops is to permanently occupy Syria and Iraq, kill off ISIS, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Hezbollah and set up zones of occupation like that in post war Germany. Oil production will be taken over and administered by the four power admin commission, a curfew imposed in all the principal cities which will be strictly enforced. All women will be given the right to vote along with complete gender equality. Acts of terror will be promptly dealt with by on the spot executions and all clerics will register with the occupying authorities and under constant scrutiny for any teachings of terrorism to their congregations.  Later on perhaps a ruling body would be permitted picked from local moderates but the occupation would be set to last for several decades at least  Russia and China would have a very valid interest in participating in such an occupation since both countries are surrounded by small Islamic states which could fall under ISIS at any time  Or we could just leave them alone, stop funding and supplying ISIS and other groups and let them get on with their lives. Western interference is the root cause of all this. Make no mistake, America and its allies have blood on their hands. With Russia in on the act we could soon have blood on our noses. Dangerous times ahead.
 Share this content via...

Dangerous times ahead.  Leave ISIS alone? How long before Saudi, Iran, Israel, Egypt and other Arab countries fall under the threat of ISIS?  A war of biblical proportions would follow. a war of death and destruction you'd never believe. Make no mistake ISIS is feared and loathed by every Arab country and also Iran. The Israelis would probably be ready to use their nuke capabilities.  We cannot leave ISIS alone, brute measures have to be taken even if it involves a complete invasion and occupation of Syria and Iraq
 Share this content via...

Timeh   10 #17 Posted October 3, 2015 Leave ISIS alone? snipped  America supply ISIS for crying out loud. Tell your gov to stop funding terrorists and then using said terrorists as an excuse for a land and oil grab. Its disgusting!  ---------- Post added 03-10-2015 at 20:46 ----------  Should we have liberated Kuwait? Should we have liberated the Moslems in Kosovo?  We didnt liberate Kuwait. Do your research. We invaded a modern educated country with a rich history and a diverse people because their leader (the same leader America supplied poison gas to to kill Iranians and Kurds) decided to sell HIS countries oil in Euros, Not Dollars. Dont even try to say it was for any other reason because you would be wrong, or lying im not sure which,.
 Share this content via...

Timeh   10 #19 Posted October 3, 2015 (edited) So Saddam didn't invade Kuwait and the yanks didn't drive his forces out? Did I just imagine that?  :hihi::hihi: Bless you mate. Your adorably naive. Yeah he did, with supplied arms from us and America, that was ok, we let him do it. What America didnt like is when he switched to selling oil in Euros (petro dollar, look it up) Same with Gaddafi. He was about to switch selling oil from dollars to gold dinar and looked what happened. Edited October 3, 2015 by Timeh
 Share this content via...

taxman   12 #22 Posted October 3, 2015 Terrible tragedy. That the US and other combatants were given the precise co-ordinates of the hospital but it was still bombed, and was continually bombed for 30 minutes after they were told it was a hospital speaks volumes for the care they take in avoiding "collateral damage". They don't need PR disasters like this at the moment.
 Share this content via...
Harleyman   12 #24 Posted October 3, 2015 (edited) and you wonder why the rest of the world think Americans are stupid. . . The Yanks couldn't even keep a lid on Iraq; how the hell would they contain the entire middle east ?  They didn't get much help did they? Gordon Brown had the British forces withdrawn soon after elected UK PM. The French didn't want to know and the rest of the coalition, if it could be called that only served as toilet cleaners. paper shufflers, canteen staff and flower arrangers, rear echelon wonders.  ISIS is mainly a threat to Europe by Europe's proximity to the middle east. Time for the EU leaders to get it together and realize that fact. How many of them are among the refugees already?
