Henri   10 #1 Posted September 30, 2015 (edited) Hi, just wondering why the price of fuel varies depending which part of the city you are in. Having filled up at Sainsburys Crystal Peaks paid 105.9, across the city Sainsburys on Archer Road, paid 108.9. This also applies to Morrisons.  Any comments ?? kidneystone   23 #8 Posted September 30, 2015 Remember the days when prices were displayed on a large paper poster and the poster had to be physically put in place by a staff member every time there was a price change, usually by climbing a step ladder and opening the display. That was when prices remained static for ages. Can you imagine if that was the case now.
 Share this content via...
Markstevo   10 #9 Posted October 1, 2015 I filled up with petrol at City rd £1.09.9 a couple of weeks ago & drove to Flamborough for the day out, now there is one petrol station in the village (ESSO) & they were charging 1.35 a litre how can they justify charging them prices? Happ Hazzard   10 #11 Posted October 1, 2015 £1.35 a litre is still a lot cheaper than a pint of beer. Cheaper than a liter of water in some places.
 Share this content via...

They can charge exactly what they like, could be £5 per litre. Nobody is forced to buy it.
 Share this content via...
