Do they still run that? I thought it had been stopped like pyjama jump.

It's one night of the year though, you're claiming that S1, the city centre filled with a hundred thousand people every day is some sort of no go zone though.

It certainly can be.

you dont see people drunk and spewing on west street? used to see all the time.

You didn't claim that "occasionally there are a few people who are excessively drunk on West Street" though did you.

S1 if after a fight or anti social behaviour

All of S1, by implication, all the time.

it's rather unpleasant seeing all this depravity. That and the begging etc. which several people have commented on.

From what I observed in a student bar at the weekend, students are far tamer than they used to be. Most were on soft drinks - without alcohol in them!!!!!

Don't know what the world is coming to.

Ok its a given that students bring money to the city, thats undisputed

But you would think someone who has moved to a city to love would at least try and make some attempt to integrate

Ask a student who has lived in Sheffield for two years if they know where some where like waterthorpe is or gleadless , they would look like you were from a different planet

Careful what you wish for. Do you really want Gleadless to get all gentrified? I mean you won't be able to get down the drive to Blackstock Road tip for pop-up cafes and the like.

There are some right miserable old chuffs on here. What exactly is a disgrace? People going out and having a good time?

Remember that time you had fun once? Awful wasn't it...
