shontammi   10 #1 Posted September 16, 2015 Hi, I have a 2 year old border collie, she is a nervous dog, I am just wondering if anyone would be nice enough to help me get her confidence up, she doesn't attack dogs and she will play by showing her teeth, she's shy and I am wanting to have help bring her confidence up, she has been attacked 4 times three of those by staffies and one by a lab so she is a little scared from that if anyone has a calm relaxed dog that is willing to help me maybe go for walks on the lead at first please message me and thank you in advance in in foxhill s6
 Share this content via...

medusa   16 #4 Posted September 18, 2015 Can I suggest that you lead walk side by side without a lot of doggy interaction for the first few walks with a new dog? That's likely to give your dog the best chance to observe her walk mate without feeling that they're in her space for a while and that should increase her ability to interact nicely with them without the nerves later.
